| WidgetBucks - Trend Watch - WidgetBucks.com Samsung i320 Review The i320 is one of the most recent offerings by Samsung. Even though this unit is relatively new, it appears that the Samsung i320 is going to move to the top of the manufacturer’s most popular list in a matter of a few weeks. From the very start the Samsung i320 looks like it will be able to compete with competitors in the field that seem to be offering everything under the sun all in one unit. Luckily for Samsung they came up with the i320 just in time. If placed within the market place at the right price level, the Samsung i320 should be able to suck up a lot of the market share and flex its muscles within this sector of the industry. Without ever turning this unit on you will notice that it has plenty of features. First thing first is the look of the phone. In all black the Samsung i320 is very visually appealing. It may not look quite as good as some of the competitors, but it can definitely hold its own. Samsung has never manufactured the best looking models, but at the same time they have never been on the bad side of things as well. And at this point in time, with the addition of the i320 to the lineup, it appears that they are working harder than ever before to take the look of their phones to the next level. As far as size and weight are concerned, the Samsung i320 is tops in the industry. It weight in at a miniscule 3.35 ounces. So no matter where you are going, or what you are doing, you should never feel weighed down by your Samsung i320. It is light enough that you can carry it in your pocket without hesitation, or in your purse without weighing it down. The dimensions of the Samsung i320 are 111mm by 59 mm by 11.5mm. To go along with the light weight, these compact dimensions make the Samsung i320 easy to use. But as opposed to some other phones, the Samsung i320 is not so small that you cannot even hold a conversation on it. The Samsung i320 is big enough to make you comfortable while talking, but small enough to never hold you back when on the run. You will also notice that a QWERTY keyboard is also integrated onto the front of the Samsung i320. This keyboard is not big enough to type long messages or files, but it is more than capable of helping you out with quick tasks. If you need to shoot off a quick text message you will not have any problems doing so on the Samsung i320. It may not be as big as other QWERTY keyboards, but it is functional in its own right. For some people getting use to the smaller keys will take a bit of time, but with some practice you will come around to what it takes to work with accuracy and efficiency. The Samsung i320 runs on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 5.0. This gives you the ability to take your work with you on the road without ever having to deal with a lot of files or a large computer. You may want to take those things with you if you are traveling, but if you are just on the run or out of the office for a bit, the Samsung i320 has everything that you will need in order to stay connected. And speaking of staying connected, the Samsung i320 is among the best in the industry. The Samsung i320 is a tri band GSM unit that is also capable of supporting GPRS/EDGE. And to go along with all of this, the Samsung i320 can also support Bluetooth Technology as well. This makes it easy to get the information that you need without having to take along too much. The Samsung i320 is meant to be flexible in the connectivity department, and it is safe to say that they reached this goal without any problems at all. To go along with the ability to stay connected, another huge advantage of the Samsung i320 over the competition is the amount of available memory. The Samsung i320 comes equipped with 120MB of usable memory. This gives you the ability to save a lot of information. And if you think that you will need more than this, you can add to it via the microSD slot. Does it get any better than that as far as memory is concerned? The Samsung i320 is also equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera. This may not be the most advanced camera available, but it gets the job done if you need to snap a couple of quick pictures here and there. The QVGA screen on the Samsung i320 displays 65k colors at a resolution of 320 by 240 pixels. This helps to ensure that any picture you take, or any file that you view with the Samsung i320 is clear as can be. Pros

| WidgetBucks - Trend Watch - WidgetBucks.com 1.3 megapixels is good enough for a cell phone. Its not just themegapixels that give good pictures. A small cellphone cannot pack the resources needed for a good camera. Nor can the price accomodate it. Rightly said. "It gets the Job Done" |
