Philips has been active on the Asian, European and UK Mobile Phone market for a while now. Just recently, Philips has re-entered the US Mobile Phone as well. At this moment, only the S660 has been released, which actually is a quite standard phone.

In the future (especially with the holiday seasons in sight), more phones will be introduced to the States as well. An example is the S900 PDA phone, which will be released in the near future.

When will S900 be released in Europe? Do you know exact date?

It depends on the country. In some countries, the S900 will not be released. I've seen it available at multiple online stores, so it sould be available already, but it has not been officially released yet in most European countries.. I believe the S900 is already released in Russia and will be soon in Italy, but I don't know the exact dates for other countries, unfortunately.

Thanks for the info. I couldn't find any information regarding operating system for S900. Can you list models of Phillips phones that runs on some operating system like Windows Mobile, Symbian, Palm, Linux, etc... ?

Thanks!

Thanks!

Most of the VoIP telephones run on Windows, except for the VP5500, which runs on Linux.

I noticed that the operation systems of the mobile phones are not being mentioned in the PDF product information data sheets, I don't know why that is. I'll take a further look and will post it here later.
