 Plam Treo 700 Series Deemed a Failure WidgetBucks - Trend Watch - WidgetBucks.com Well it seems as if the sales numbers for Palms 2006 Treo, the 700w, are not so hot and has Palm delaying the follow up unit in order to add a puch that they feel the unit was lacking. Sprint and Verizon are the providers for this version here in the US and both are reporting disappointing sales with the unit and have reportedly asked Palm to deliver a better product or they will not take any further versions. So don't expect a new version until well into 2007!

| That's odd in my opinion. I thought it will actually perform much better then Treo 650 as it runs on Windows Mobile 5 ?? Any particular reason they mentioned? |

| I'm not surprised the sales didn't do too well. I bought one and initially, I had a lot of problems with it. If my carrier had a better smartphone, I would've gotten it. Still, I do appreciate this phone. Also, didn't seem like Palm advertised that much. Although I hear real estate agents use it a lot because it opens those boxes on the houses. |

| WidgetBucks - Trend Watch - WidgetBucks.com People were reportedly unhappy with the clunky controls and the product seemed to be very glitchy. I think while the operating sytem is fine, the UI provided by palm to interact with the OS is just plain bad.
