The Palm Treo 700w is dubbed an all in one smart phone. And after testing this unit out for a few days we have to agree. Not only does the Palm Treo 700w offer basis usability, it also gives features that will make your life easier than you ever thought possible. With the Palm Treo 700w you have one device that does it all. Whether you need to make a call, browse the web, or send an email, the Palm Treo 700w is the way to go. And all of this is capable through the easy to use Windows Mobile platform.

When we started our test with the Palm Treo 700w we were anxious to see how the Windows Mobile platform would work. With this unit you get Direct Push Technology that gives you access to the Windows interface and file system. We immediately noticed how easy it was to use the Microsoft Suite applications to stay with important tasks including checking our email from the road. The ability to run multiple programs through the Palm Treo 700w makes it easy for anybody to take their office with them no matter where they go.

The easy to use capabilities of the Palm Treo 700w are also welcomed by all. Being that there are so many features on this unit we expected it to be difficult to handle the basic tasks that go along with any cell phone; but it is safe to say that things were different with the Palm Treo 700w. You will have the ability to manage all of your calls from one screen so that you never get lost in the sea of available programs. In addition, you can also add photos to personalized ring tones; just another feature that makes the Palm Treo 700w easy to use.

If you need to be away from your office but still get work done, the Palm Treo 700w is a unit that can help you out. With this unit you can take your email, calendar, and contacts with you in your pocket. This is all made possible by standard programs that include: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Mobile. You can view and edit any files through these programs with ease. We also loved the 60MB of storage that allowed us to basically take our entire laptop with us when we hit the road.

And what would this unit be if you could not access the web. With Internet Explorer you can search the web for what you need with an average download speed of 400 to 600 kbps. This allows you to download files that you may need while on the road, while also giving you the ability to listen to music or play wireless games. With the Palm Treo 700w it is not all work and no play!

The only drawback of the Palm Treo 700w is that there are so many features that you may feel overwhelmed. Some people catch on right away and sift through these features with ease; but on the other hand you may have a hard time finding out what you are doing. Luckily, the Palm Treo 700w was designed with this in mind so with a little bit of practice you should be fine.

The Palm Treo 700w is definitely in all in one device. If you need to take your office on the road or simply want a lot of features, the Palm Treo 700w is a good choice.
