Nokia N80 Review

Nokia N80 is already garnering a lot of attention from people that are interested in getting a new cell phone. And with the Nokia N80 you will get just that plus some.

The Nokia N80 is unlike anything else that is on the market today. When it finally becomes available it is safe to say that this unit is going to get strong looks from people from one side of the globe to the next.

The first thing that you will notice about the Nokia N80 is the high resolution display screen that comes standard. To some people that only use their cell phone for basic tasks this is not a very important factor; but for others that want their phone to do more this is one of the most important aspects.

On your high resolution screen you will be able to experience true internet browsing from your phone. Even though there are other devices that offer this capability, the Nokia N80 is one of the first to make it easy on the user. Gone are the days of hard to navigate systems and difficult to read screens. The Nokia N80 makes sure that your internet browsing experience is as easy as it would be on a computer.

In addition to being able to search the web, the Nokia N80 also gives you the ability to view emails and attachments with ease. This is one of the most important features of the phone because not everyone will want to browse online with their cell phone, but the majority of people would love to be able to check their emails from anywhere in the world.

And of course like almost every new cell phone today, the Nokia N80 comes with a camera that can be used in a variety of different ways. The 3 megapixel camera that is included will turn out crystal clear digital photos time and time again. With 3 megapixels the Nokia N80 is at the top of the class in terms of camera use and efficiency.

The camera also comes with a 20x digital zoom meaning that you do not have to be in the action in order to get a top notch picture. And of course streaming video is also included in case you want to get you and your friends in action.

Unlike other phones with these sorts of capabilities, the Nokia N80 is not as big as you would expect. Weighing in at only 4.73 ounces this phone packs a lot of features into a small package. As far as dimensions are concerned the Nokia N80 measures in at 3.76 x 1.97 x 1.02.

Since the Nokia N80 is yet to be released it is hard to say what the downfalls will be, if any. At this point in time, everybody is waiting to get their hands on this new unit. But beware; prices should come in at around $600. Even though this may seem like a lot, the amount of features that you receive makes the Nokia N80 well worth while.

Pros
  • A high resolution display screen that allows for easy viewing regardless of the lighting situation. This is particularly important for people that use their phone on a consistent basis.
  • The ability to search the web while also being able to view email and download attachments. This makes the Nokia N80 versatile and quite useful for business professionals.
  • 3 megapixel camera that takes top quality pictures. In addition, the camera comes with a 20x digital zoom that allows for easy picture taking from far distances.
  • Weighing in at only 4.73 ounces and measuring 3.76 x 1.97 x 1.02 the Nokia N80 packs a lot of features into a small package. This is ideal for personal or business use.
Cons
  • Like many phones that have a lot of features, the Nokia N80 is on the expensive side of the tracks. This will deter away some buyers, and may even put off some businesses
  • It has not been proven to the world yet so people are going to move forward with skepticism. Since it is an unknown it is possible that new problems may arise.

N80 has these huge number of features, 3megapiel camera through 3G, music and business phone - it is over all is like a swiss army knife.

While large pixels may not matter much, its the missing autofocus that can hurt. Wirelse streaming funationality is good though.

My opinion.
