When the Treo 700w was released by Verizon Wireless back in January, many confidently predicted that Palm's first Windows Mobile based Pocket PC would soon be available from a wide variety of carriers. Palm is only offering the EVDO version through Sprint, while the UMTS-follower for Europe, the Palm Treo 750v, will be announced next month.
