COOPERATION: Google signs five year Map Agreement with Tele Atlas

While
it's not yet clear why Google want to use Tele Atlas maps for Google Maps
and Google Mobile, it could be an indication that Google wants to join the GPS
navigation area as well. Tele Atlas, a leading global provider of digital maps
and dynamic content for navigation and location-based solutions, yesterday
announced that Google has signed a long term 5 year license agreement with the
company that gives Google access to Tele Atlas maps and dynamic content in more
than 200 countries around the world.
