 UNVEILED: i-mate K-Jar Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition shows its face at FCC WidgetBucks - Trend Watch - WidgetBucks.com Published: Tue, 30 Jan 2007 11:17:56 +0100 No, the so called, i-mate K-Jar isn't that new anymore - have we seen it last year already, when TechFaith Wireless previewed it the first time, but it looks like i-mate (which has licensed the reference design) comes closer to a release date now. The K-KJar is a HTC Universal look-alike Windows Mobile 5-based Pocket PC Phone Edition, featuring a thumb-keyboard and swivel touchscreen which lets you use the device in traditional PDA-mode or like a sub-notebook. Unlike the HTC Universal, the K-Jar also features an external LCD display for caller information, however this display doesn't makes use of Windows Mobile's auxiliary display functionality.
