Spb Software House, today released Spb Mobile DVD — a desktop application that provides a simple way to convert DVDs and other video files to mobile format with the fastest possible speed and a true real-time preview.
According to a recent Spb Pocket PC Survey, approximately 50% of Pocket PC owners watch movies on their Pocket PCs. They watch videos while traveling or during just about any idle time. One can share home videos, show cartoons to children, and more.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to directly copy a video file from a PC or laptop, due to filesize and bit rate limitations. Video files must be converted and compressed to a smaller size, but the smaller the file size, the poorer the video quality. It's up to user to find a compromise between the file size and video quality. No computer can ever make this decision. If the size/quality settings were wrong, it may happen that the conversion video quality is unacceptable and the whole conversion procedure must be repeated. This "what-if method" can be very annoying. To avoid such problems Spb Mobile DVD offers a unique true real-time preview feature, which allows to see the result even before the conversion starts.
