| WidgetBucks - Trend Watch - WidgetBucks.com Published: Sat, 7 Oct 2006 22:28:28 +0200 Finally, after the download and installation of the Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center was possible with a Registry hack only, Microsoft yesterday released Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center Beta 3 for Windows Vista - together with yesterday's Windows Vista RC2 release. And, beside being available, the WMDC (which replaces ActiveSync on Windows Vista PCs) finally also supports Windows Mobile 2003 and 2003 Second Edition Pocket PCs and Smartphones; the previous versions only supported Windows Mobile 5.0 devices. The Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center Beta enables you to set up new partnerships, synchronize content and manage music, pictures and video with any Windows Mobile 2003 or Windows Mobile 5.0 powered device. The Windows Mobile Device Center Beta 3 is only supported on Windows Vista RC1 and above but not on previous Windows Vista Betas. Read more... |
