Anyone ever own a bad LG? I had one a few years ago that was awful, it finally just stopped working so I had to get a new phone.

What was the model? To be honest, Nokia also has some "bad" models so I guess it's not brand related.

I think it was the LG VX 6100, it really sucked. I've owned phones from motorola, qualacomm, blackberry, sprint, etc but this was the worst one ever. It just stopped working after about a year, and it really wasn't used that much.

all i know is that i have heard LG is a cheaply made phone, and the phones that have the slide function to answer (front slides down or something) have a tendency to break or wear out. i have just heard bad things about LG, so i stay away from them!

Havent long moved to canada and decided to get a simple no thrills L1500 phone .. the first one died on me within days and thankfully the replacement has been sweet so far.

I use an LG, and will confirm that it's not near the best phone in the world. My battery life is 3-4 days without any use, the image quality is horrible, it is incapable of taking videos, and among other things, it comes with horrible internet access. I'm thinking about switching to Nokia in the future. The only reason I got an LG is because my dad works for Verizon, and apparently their service markets the LG to heck and back.

I had one LG model (don't remember the model exactly) about 2 years ago, it looked cool, had 65K colors, but after 2 months of intensive use the screen just started changing it's colors.....Since then I never buy/suggest LG.
