REVIEW: LG Kg920

LG KG920 Review

Even though the LG KG920 has only been on the market for about six months it is already picking up quite the fan base. It may not be quite as popular as some of the other phones, but when everything is said and done people will see that the LG KG920 is definitely a contender. The LG KG920 does not have all of the features that some of the other phones have, but the good thing is that this phone gets the job done with what they have. There is never any wondering if the LG KG920 will be able to provide the user with the level of details or features that he or she has been searching for.

From the outside the LG KG920 is visually appealing. It does not have the sleek and stylish look of some of the other phones such as the Chocolate, but this does not mean that it cannot holds its own. As far as color is concerned the LG KG920 is dressed in silver which gives it a very nice look. There have been some rumblings about the overall color of the LG KG920, but all in all the phone looks good; and after all color is not the most important feature of this phone anyway!

When it comes to size the LG KG920 is competitive, but definitely not the best; if to you best means smallest. The LG KG920 weighs in at 138 grams which makes it small enough to tote around no matter what the situation. The LG KG920 is perfect for putting in your pocket, or even better your purse. But regardless, it works out well and never gets in the way. As far as dimensions are concerned the LG KG920 is 108 by 50 by 18 mm. Again, not as good as it gets but definitely small enough to suit the needs of 99 percent of the consumers.

As you start to examine the LG KG920 more closely the first thing that you will notice is the size of the screen as compared to the rest of the phone. For some people a bigger screen is a good thing, but others do not like it. This is simply a matter of preference. The screen on the LG KG920 is 2 inches big which makes it one of the largest in the industry. The display is 240 by 320 pixels which ensures that everything you see on the large screen is crystal clear. To go along with this big screen a nice added feature is the fact that you can download wallpaper. Of course this is something that can be done on most phones of today, but on the LG KG920 it is a very detail oriented feature, and a great way to customize your phone.

Below the screen you will notice all of the standard buttons which allow you to make calls, enter numbers, or navigate the features of the phone. The LG KG920 did a great job of not over complicating things. Simply put the buttons that you need are easy to find and easy to use. There is no excess work that needs to be put in by the user if they are hoping to do something special. Ease of use is one area that the LG KG920 excels in.

As far as the phonebook is concerned the LG KG920 has one of the largest memories that you will find anywhere. You can store up to 1000 numbers in the phonebook of the LG KG920. It is safe to say that you will never come anywhere close to fulfilling all of this memory but it always good to know that it is there if you may happen to need it.

Now for the best feature of the LG KG920. The bottom line is that the camera on the LG KG920 is one of the best, if not the best, in the industry. Simply put it can do everything that you would expect plus some. The LG KG920 camera is five mega pixels which ensures that virtually every picture comes out clear. Simply put when you are taking a picture with your LG KG920 it is almost as good as using a regular sized digital camera. The camera also comes equipped with strobe flash, auto focus, and QVGA video. And like mentioned above, to see the pictures on the LG KG920 is never a problem thanks to the large display screen.

All in all the LG KG920 is a great phone. No, it does not have all of the features of other phones, but this does not mean that it cannot hold its own. If you are looking for a phone that can take great pictures and easily handle day to day tasks, the LG KG920 should be considered. By purchasing this phone you will be joining the thousands of other people who have already made the leap.

Pros

• The screen size of the LG KG920 is nothing to take lightly. At two inches it is big enough for anybody to read with ease. In addition, it also offers crystal clear images no matter what you are displaying.
• The usability of this phone is top notch. All of the buttons that you need are in the right place, and nothing seems out of touch with the rest of the unit. If you are not tech savvy you should think about the LG KG920. It makes navigation easy.
• The camera that comes with the LG KG920 is probably the best feature. With 5 mega pixels you can take high quality pictures not matter where you are.

Cons

• The look of the LG KG920 is not quite as stylish as it could be. This is not too big of a problem, but some people always want to look the best. With the LG KG920 it is a matter of taste.
• The LG KG920 does not have as many features as some competitors.
