Verizon's Merit Program

I recently recieved a packet from verizon stating that i have done well enough on payments and that i am now enrolled in their merits program. I was just wondering if anyone else has recieved this, to either see if it's a type of scam by giving it to everybody (even people who are behind on their payments).

If not then i'd happily like to announce that you get 20% off on all verizon products with the card if you keep good payments. Enjoy
