Earlier this month, BenQ-Siemens announced their new smartphone, the P51. Featuring a 65K TFT touchscreen (240 x 320 pixels), QWERTY keyboard and a 5-way navigation stick, the phone runs on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0.
Other features include a MMC/SIDO slot, 128MB SDRAM and a 128MB Flash ROM. This phone has Bluetooth, Infrared and Wi-Fi. It also supports VoIP over Wi-Fi. It has a 1.3MP camera with video capability.
This phone is a copy of the older BenQ P50. It looks like both Benq and Siemens will launch their earlier phones with a few minor corrections and upgrades along with the new phones the 2 companies are developing together.
