Motorola Q Review

The Motorola Q definitely knows how to shake up the cell phone industry. Not only does the Motorola Q come in at a great price point, it is among the most technologically advanced phones on the market. But the number one reason that the Motorola Q is generating a lot of buzz is because of its ultra thin design. This has caught the eye of buyers both young and old. Forget about having to carry around a heavy design if you wanted to have a lot of features; the Motorola Q solves this problem without any hassle at all.

Many people are absolutely enamored by the small size of the Motorola Q. It is thinner than the Razr and measures a mere 4.57 by 2.52 by .47. It is absolutely amazing that Motorola could pack so many features into such a small design, but sure enough after a long wait they revealed the Q model to the world. In addition to the small design, the Motorola Q also impresses in the way that it feels in your hand. Some thin cell phones feel very flimsy; like you could break them by simply putting them in your pocket. But the Motorola Q impresses in this area as well. Even though the Motorola Q is one of the thinnest phones on the market, it is also one of the most durable and resilient. This alone is sure to bring in thousands of customers. Buyers are getting tired of purchasing small phones that cannot hold up during the daily routine. But luckily for Motorola Q they released the Q at just the right time. In fact, the Motorola Q is so small and stable that if you have never used one before you may have to go through a bit of adjusting. But do not let this scare you away. In no time at all the Motorola Q will feel just fine in your hand.

When it comes to the screen of the Motorola Q, it does not get much better. As far as size is concerned, the screen of the Motorola Q measures 2.5 inches diagonally. This is quite big for a phone of this size. In addition, you will be blown away at how true the colors are on the screen of the Motorola Q. This is thanks to the fact that it displays 65,536 color hues at a 320 by 240 pixel resolution. By combining these two things, the Motorola Q has one of the best screens in the industry. So instead of just having a ton of features, you can now see them clearly and in true color.

One downfall of the Motorola Q is that it does not offer a touch screen to users. Some people may find this to be a pain in the neck, but to other people it is no big deal at all. It all depends on personal preference. But do not worry about the lack of touch screen functionality. With the Motorola Q you will have a set of buttons that is easy to use, and can help you navigate without any problems. These control buttons are located on the right spine of the phone, as well as directly below the screen. With the combination of buttons navigating the menu is an easy task. Some people even agree that this type of navigation is easier than a touch screen unit. The Motorola Q also has a scroll wheel that allows you to quickly navigate. This is a much better design than those used in other models. Additionally, an integrated QWERTY keyboard allows you to fire off quick messages to anybody you please. The great thing about the keyboard on the Motorola Q is that it is spacious enough to use with comfort. Of course it is not easy to type at a fast pace, but compared to the competition the Motorola Q really shines in this area. You will soon enough find out that you can send messages, and enter information quickly.

The Motorola Q also comes along with a nice set of standard features. They are not as broad as some other phones, but the features that are included are quite useful. The Motorola Q comes equipped with Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone. This means that you do not get the full office package which includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. But the Motorola Q does come with a program that allows you to easily view these file. Simply put you cannot edit them. For most people this is more than enough functionality. The Motorola Q comes with 128MB of flash memory as well as 64MB of RAM. And if that was not enough you will also get approximately 60MB of user accessible memory for storing important information.

The Motorola Q also comes with the ability to send, receive, and manage email. Wireless connections for the Motorola Q are completed through Bluetooth technology.

As you can see the Motorola Q is tops in the industry in more than one area. If you are looking for a device that can do it all, the Motorola Q is the way to go. It is picking up steam among consumers from one side of the world to the next.
